Steps In Unity was born from my love for dance and my desire to create a space where every dancer feels valued, included, and celebrated. Dancing has always been more than just movement to me—it’s a way to connect, express, and build a sense of belonging. I wanted to bring that same spirit into a brand that represents the unity and passion of the dance community. Whether it’s line dancing, swing, or any other style, Steps In Unity is about honoring the shared joy that brings dancers together. My goal is to offer The Dancer Within Journal, a wellness journal that's structured to help dancers with documenting their thoughts and emotions, tracking their progress, and reflecting on their journey of reconnecting with their passion through dance.
At my first dance event, I often felt overwhelmed, and at times, completely alone because I didn't have as much experience and skill as the others did. One of my friends through dance once told me "Comparison is the thief of joy", and that really stuck with me and made me realize that everyone learns how to dance at their own pace, but what really matters is the loving, encouraging, and supportive people you surround yourself with while dancing. I started Steps In Unity to remind dancers that their skill, style of dance, background, or age doesn't have to affect their passion for the art of dance. We are all here to support and love one another throughout our journeys, and to grow together.
Beyond The Dancer Within Journal, Steps In Unity is built on a mission to give back. I believe in using this brand as a force for good, which is why I donate 5% of every purchase to Dancing Disciples Ministries, a ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel and using dance as a form of worship and praise to God. I believe dance is more than just movement—it’s an expression of reverence, joy, and connection with the Lord. Supporting this cause allows me to help others experience the transformative power of dance in faith. Through this brand, I hope to not only provide The Dancer Within Journal and stylish, comfortable dancewear but also inspire a movement where dancers uplift and support one another—because when we dance in faith together, we thrive together.

Real Messages From Real Dancers.
I first started line dancing in summer of 2021, and I would practice very infrequently, up until I went to Las Vegas for a line dance convention in November of 2022. That's when I began to take my passion for it seriously.
